Strange

You wonder why . it's a little bit unreal. The plaza is nice and pure. Apparently the cordouans love it.

This is one of the most popular places to visit in Córdoba. However I don't think this is one of the must of the city.

This was on the map from the Tourist Bus and recommended to see. We got off the bus at the nearest stop and walked to what we thought would be worth seeing. Very disappointed as it is just a cross with a lot of dead flowers round it and a lot of burnt out candles. Obviously no lights on in... More

Wouldn't say the cross is a must see, although the streets leading up to the plaza made the journey worthwhile. Like some other commentators noted, it is a just a cross in a courtyard.

We had a hard time finding this place. It was a cross in the middle of a deserted street. The church across from it was closed and we could not visit inside. Just sat on the steps of the church to observe very few tourist making to this ttraction.

Located in the Plaza de los Capuchinos and therefore somewhat removed from the city's main attractions, the Cristo de los Faroles with its lanterns is one of Cordoba's architectural treasures. It is sadly overlooked by most visitors to the city most of whom visit during the daytime. To appreciate the beauty of the monument, visit during twilight in the half-hour... More

We went to visit it as we were walking close around there but we did not understand the beauty nor the importance of this site. I would not recommend it.

Christ of the lanterns is in the centre of this pretty traditional plaza. an interesting church, a patio, an art gallery or two. well worth a visit

A very plain, quiet, hidden plaza that is apparently significant to the locals. Unfortunately the actual church was closed when we were visiting so cannot comment on that aspect.

We was walking around a neighborhood, when we arrived to this square. The monument actually scared us. It is impressive, and it is more at night. It seems like living 50 years ago.
