I was expecting a very brief and poor collection for the €1.50 they charge, but was pleasantly surprised with the quality of pieces on display. Worth the visit.

What a great facility, this is the best value with exibits that are well worth seeing. There is a audio guide in any language that covers everything you need to know.

The Museum houses a wonderful collection of artifacts dating back to Roman times and housed literally over the remains of a Roman theatre, makes the visit that much more interesting. The building has been carefully constructed enabling visitors to descend to a lower floor and...More

This museum is built right over the top of an ancient theatre and you can go down below and see the remains. It is well laid out and clearly explained.

Whilst the museum is tucked away in a corner it contains a large section of the Roman Amphitheatre in the lower section, the entrance was free and the display and information really interesting, I would recommend a visit

The Cordoba Archeological Museum offers another dimension of the rich and fascinating history this beautiful region beyond its Islamic and Christian influences. Built on, and in parts literally on top of Roman ruins under a glass floor which you walk on, the museum offers a...More

Such a little gem of a museum for Roman history buffs. Beautiful Roman statues, busts, inscriptions and coins. The underground excavation of the Roman amphitheater is fabulous as you walk through and above the seating. Do not miss it.

This museum has a surprising amount of artifacts on display. They are still digging under the Square so new things to see all the time. Take the time to look for this one when you visit Cordoba.
