This is a modern art museum and an architectural marvel. Admission is free and it's open later in the evening than other museums. Your experience will vary depending on whether you happen to like the temporary exhibitions. A curious fact is that there were two routes through the galleries that were only connected at the beginning of each. You'd find yourself at the end and have to retrace your steps. Be sure to look at the back facade of the museum which at night comes alive with lighting effects.

What a wonderful space, really interesting exhibition and great staff. Surprised it was so empty. Very easy to get to and the museum was free.

Great way to spend an hour or so.

It is a huge complex and that allows for an excellent space for the often large installations. Some things took you back to recent past (old postcards with on the backside description of the photographed person). Some were funny, some interesting or imposing. We really liked it and I can wholeheartedly recommended.

on a recent visit to Córdoba I visited the C3A, a absolutely stunning building but the exhibition was rather disappointing. It was also remarkable, I was the only visitor in the entire place the entire time I was there. I spoke to the security personal, and they told me that the place was very badly frequented, it is a shame there is so much potential,

If you have any interest in contemporary art or architecture, this is a must-see for both in Córdoba. Quite a strong building with fine galleries, all with concrete walls and engaging layout. On our visit, a few famous names (Yoko Ono, Shazia Sikander) were shown among interesting artists from Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking countries. There was not a painting in the place - all was sculpture and video.

The staff seems to be figuring out what to do with all the space. Huge galleries were well-installed but could fit much more (those videos, shown on large screens, help fill the volume). Labels in Spanish and English were intelligently written. And the museum is FREE ADMISSION.

All in all, a terrific experience on a world-class level.
