Especially the part near the City Hall is very nice, offering Christmas treats, food and beverages for every taste. Next to the Marienkirche nearby you will find the historic part of the market which is very cosy and offering handmade goods. Usually you will find the fairy tales displays near to it, too, so there will be a lot of... More

One of the nicest Christmas markets in Germany. The one near the market place is particularly pretty.

It is a beautiful Christmas Market, small and cute. You should see it! Try the Elch Burger or the "Stockfleisch", it is a need!

The main part of the market is in front of the town hall, but there are other sections all over the centre. This is one of the few markets that continues after Christmas almost to the New Year. As Christmas markets go (and I'm not really a fan - if you've seen one you've seen them all), it was very... More

Quite small but plenty of variety, traditional food and a lovely atmosphere, right next to a mix of historic old buildings and modern shops.

It's like the whole town is one huge Xmas markers- you can't miss it. Amazing sweets at very cheap prices, like €2-3. Unbelievable holiday atmosphere and the feel of a medieval town. Definitely visit Lubeck if you're around at this time of year.

The whole town celebrates Christmas, the decorations are all over the town and makes the atmosphere great - and the Schoko Miintu at the major Christmas market is addictive!

We really enjoyed our visit Lübeck is lovely and you can spend hours wandering around. There are an endless supply of cafes and bars to restore your energy. We loved the Xmas markets and the central one had a heavy emphasis on food and drink. Gluwein with choice of spirits plus other warming traditional punches or hot chocolate kept the... More

Cosy, with lots of Christmas cheer and stalls. But there were too many people walked around like a herring in a barrel. This was a Saturday, weekdays recommended
