Not the most attractive monument I've ever seen and not easy to find out what it's all about but certainly a most distinctive feature of the main shopping area.

We visited Leipzig and were impressed by the Jahrhundertschritt statue in the center of the city. Each part of the statue represents something from Germany's past, present and future. I can't recall what each part meant, but it was intriguing.

This is an interesting statue located near the St Nicholas church. Even though the explanation of the statue is in German, it is still worth taking some nice photos here.

This odd and interesting state not far from the St Nicholas church did not have any clear explanation in the PDA guide.It shows a variety of expressions ranging from the Nazi salute to the spirit of freedom.You make your pick. Y saw it from several...More
