Luckily this place was very close to where I stayed in Dresden, because I totally loved this place and visited it in numerous occasions. Very clean, relaxing, interesting, photogenic and beautiful gardens. It was just perfect, probably the first place that I'm going to visit...More

4 stars because it was closed during Wintertime. Bit disappointed (my fault though, should have checked on the net before). Otherwise it's a beautiful Palace with big Garden and Park. Wish to have chance to come back in Sommer or so.

A beautiful Castle, not to big, medium size . Amazing garden area, with a great collection of plants and trees from all over the world. In the gardens they had a great art collection exposed. Overall a great day, the only downside is the price...More

We detoured from the Elbe cycle way to visit this palace. Unfortunately it was pouring with rain, so we could not fully appreciate the beautiful gardens, but we enjoyed the palace itself, which had noticeboards in German and English. The kitchens were a particular highlight....More

The setting for the palaces beside the Elbe is magnificent. We lacked time for a comprehensive visit. Remember there are three palaces, an extensive park, and baroque gardens. The best way to arrive is by steamer from Drrsden. We concentrated on the decorative arts -...More

We visited on a Monday - and the castle buildings were closed, so we could only visit the gardens and park. The gardens are beautifully laid out. For the first time ever, we saw a red squirrel, which made my day!

The best component of this palace is super wide garden. Gardens are well cared, wide, green in summer and you can enjoy the grown nature and avoid hot weather effectively. If you visit the palace in the morning, you can feel better. I think I...More

I didn't liked the place much. It has just one garden with flower beds and rest is like jungle. Entry fees is also there of around € 8 . Its not worth going in 😞
