'Zum Stiefel", wonderful saarlandish restaurant. I ordered a Saarbrücker Schweinefilet, wonderful. The service comme il faut. I like this place, and I eat here at least once each time I am in Saarbrücken.

We have visited Saarbrucken several times as part of a Rotary Club as we are twinned with one of the Saarbrucken Rotary Clubs. The old town is very pleasant with a nice square with plenty of cafes and places to eat either inside or outside.

The Old Saarbrücken is a little bit far from the train station. It is, thought a big part of this city's history and a beautiful place to walk.
