St. George’s Fountain is located in Trier’s Kornmarkt plaza. It’s a beautiful 18th-century Rococo structure that represents St. George slaying the dragon. Worth a picture or two!

The fountain was not going when we were there, but a lot of it had green algae on it and looked as if it could do with a good clean. Probably if it had been on the algae would not have shown so much

St. George's fountain is really striking. It is a must see in the market square of Trier. There is no fee.

The fountain was lovely, but did not particularly stand out in this town of historic and charming buildings, landmarks and sights.

The obelisk shaped structure with a dragon slayer, Saint George on top and at the base of the structure are two maidens and two men representing the four seasons. I was very much interested of this exemplary art so beautifully carved and meaningfully represented by...More

A beautiful piece of sculpture let down by some mediocre lighting and the water features were not on or not working, pity.
