This is a small church to the side of the main cathedral. It will only take you five minutes to walk around, but worth a quick visit as it's free and there is some lovely stained glass.

My family visited this on the 100th anniversary of Fatima and were blessed to be able to attend Mass. It is a beautiful church, designed to be shaped like a 12 petal rose, a symbol of Our Lady and reminiscent of the 12 apostles, tribes,...More

The church was built in 1235-60 and is one of the earliest examples of German Gothic architecture. It was lovely inside with its soaring ceilings and stained glass. It is located right next to the Dom. Be sure to see both of them.

One of the top four or five sites to visit in Trier, and a wonderfully well-preserved. For Gothic architecture fans, this is a must-make pilgrimage, since its the oldest known gothic edifice in Germany, and of course ties in historically to the romanesque church foundations...More
