IN a city dripping with history, this is one of the best things in the city. I loved sitting just outside of it and marveling at its beauty

It is not the best place for visit in Trier, for me is more interesting out that in. For me is spectacular building, Roman arquitectural example but I would like enjoy out, on the street. And I recommended the night view.

It was an incredible witness of the Roman empire in Trier. It is the only still standing basilica in the world. A really huge room where the Emperor hosted its guests.

This was the reason we came to Trier and unintentionally saw it in a great way - illuminated by night - and realising just how big it was - and Roman. Inside, it feels less grand, until one realises that each ceiling coffer is the...More

The most complete Roman building I've seen. Gives a real insight into how impressive these Roman palaces must have been. Superb Roman brickwork that is 1700 years old... how many modern brick built structures will last that long?

This was interesting to see. We did not spend a great deal of time at this site. It is very close/with in walking distance to many of the other famous sites of the city.
