Beautiful church one should not miss. It is not situated at the city center but worth the visit. The fresco paintings are beautiful.

It's a bit outside of the city center where all sights are located but it the walk several blocks from Porta Nigra is worth it.

The Church was and remains Roman Catholic. The earlier church was demolished by the French when they occupied Trier in 1673 and it was rebuilt in 1734. most of the internal elements were the work of Johann Balthasar Neumann... More

I’m afraid we are not 100% sure, but we think it’s a roman-catholic one. That’s what we find in Wikipedia in any case :-) . Have a great stay in Trier! From sunny Rodos, Argyris+Despina
