Before the cable car across the river, this little ferry was the quickest way to cross after the floating pontoon bridge was dismantled after WW2. It brings you from the city proper to the Ehrenbreitstein part of town. From there you can ascend the mighty...More

As we were staying in Ehrenbreitstein, we found this ferry a quicker and much more fun way of getting into the city than a taxi or walking. It was 2 Euros each, one way which we thought was fair. Just a shame it stopped running...More

This is a convenient and also scenic way to cross the Rhein. Although of course less scenic than the cable car, but yet offers another set of views.
