We took the cable car up to the fortress to achieve a good view of the Rhine and surrounding area.
The views were absolutely fabulous.
The cable car system is so well run that there is no need to queue for deny length of time.

Top tip - each cable car is different. Some just have seats - but some have viewing panes downwards.
It's possible to buy tickets also for the castle up above. Give about 2 hours for this. Lovely and new setup....More
