I went to Wuppertal with a friend just to see a show of the Pinna Baush company. Before, we went for a spontaneous walk around the center and were very disappointed of the lack of personality and charm of the city, even on a sunny...More

I had a lovely walk around the skulpturenpark. I walked there from Wuppertal hbf, and it is about 20-30 minutes walk with uphill bits. There are buses that go near though. There were some really interesting sculptures and the landscape around was so beautiful. I...More

Absolutely beautiful setting for extremely interesting sculptures. In a forest following well marked out paths plus delicious cakes in the cafe after the walk.

Some parts of the film "Pina" by Wim Wenders were shot here. When I went there the park was covered in snow and silence, which makes a very nice, romantic walk, and the vision of the sculptures in the middle of the forest can be...More
