The story of the city origin and how the trade developed. Interesting but a bit to much put into the importance of that particular way of trading? Nice statue and area.

The Kiepenkerl tells the story how it worked in former times to buy food or even to get the latest news from him. There was no newspaper,so he knew the latest news by walking from village to village.

Interesting monument in a prime location. There are two restaurants right next to it, bearing the same name. Eat in one of them, the food is amazing and the service very friendly.

A nice statue on a lovely square, for pictures a bit hidden between the umbrellas of the teracce. We found it while walking a geocaching tour. Which brought us to a range of lovely spots in Munster
