My family has visited here twice now and not yet seen the museum in its entirety. It's really well-curated and organized into several sections, including dinosaurs and how they are related to birds, the natural history of the region, naturalist expeditions across time, and an amazing special exhibit on nature in the darkest regions of our planet--the deep sea and... We had some time to spend whilst in Münster ( close to where we live) and decided to visit the museum, not having been there for years. The entrance fee (€6.50) was reasonable but I think we got lots for our money. The museum had its usual exhibits which as such are quite Interesting, but what made the visit worthwhile... More

Fantastic new museum just across the square from the Dom. It has a number of sectors but we only had time for one this time. Next visit in late November.

This museum offers a good opportunity to spend some time there and learn a lot about animals. It`s really nice for kids and not at all boring.

When I went the main exhibit was sex and genetics which was really great. A smaller temporary exhibit was on views of the world from above which was also great. I really like this museum. Its all in German but you can get an audio guide (I haven't yet though I went twice with non-German speakers!). Not huge, but enough... More

The museum is not huge but if you have a spare hour or two it is worth having a look. We had some time to kill before meeting someone at the zoo next door so it was ideal for us. Also it is a fairly reasonably priced place to eat... However the food isn't great (not bad, but certainly not... More

Very good exhibits and the shows in the Planetarium are great, but the staff are most unhelpful, to the point of rude and harraing. We were in a group and when entering the planetarium, one person with a small handbag and one with a lage daypack. The person with the small handbag was not allowed in, as the bag was... More
