The Muenster Cathedral was definitely impressive and beautiful and the displays in the lobby showed just how much reconstruction was done. We were unable to take any photographs on the inside as the Christmas Day service was underway. We would love to go back and...More

Outside, the clean white of the sandstone shines. Inside the simple lines are a delight. I am always amazed at the unity of vision over the large number of years it would have taken to build this and with what we would consider primitive tools.

When shopping in Münster, take some time to visit the cathedral or the dom. It is impressive to see. Very nice to wander around in.

It's a working church, large and spread out. But after so many churches seen, I enjoyed just sitting on one of the benches on the wide front yard and just people watch. Very peaceful on a sunny autumn morning!

Stop to say some prayers and admired the impressive design of this church and to take some pictures. I did not stay that lo g as I wish but overall I had a good experience. Don't forget to pay for the candle.

The astronomical clock and organ were the highlights of the cathedral, It appears most of the stainless was destroyed during WWII. Very large but pretty stark, most explanations in Germanwith no translations.

The big Paulus Dom is very impressive and beautifull. It is most Romanesq in structure and the first parts are very old. There are very nice ornaments. When we stepped outside in a garden all priests has been buried here.
