Worth a walk around if you are interested in modern history. Some exhibitions cost extra but we enjoyed the museum that explained how the workers also suffered during the war as they were not pro nazi enough.

The Ruhr Museum has utilised the grounds of a former mine splendidly, the exhibits are arranged in an unusual way and I loved the staircase simulating the molten lava. Information provided also in English. Really enjoyed our visit.
