Visited this place after seeing it as one of the top recommended places to visit in Dusseldorf on tripadvisor. Glad I did! It has nice aquariums and good information on each of the animals. It also has some explanation in English, although mostly are in...More

We had purchased a bus/tram three day ticket, which also allowed us to visit this zoo free of charge. Huge array of sea creatures in an extremely well kept museum. Stingrays and shark were my favourites, whilst my daughter enjoyed watching the alligators the most....More

Interesting zoo. Wanted to see penguins but it was too hot for them. Kids were excited about this visit and were not disappointed.

Great guide through evolution with good examples. It has great configuration og fish tanks, birds, reptiles, plants... Beautiful flora and fauna. They have also small but good geological collection. We enjoyed it.

It was a great place to visit, lots of things to see and do. The only negative thing was that most of the commentary was in German, so for my teens it was a bit difficult to understand everything.

Been there a few times and it's always a nice time out you can follow evolution through the years and have some education while having fun and for 9 quit per person you really can't go wrong
