This is quite a nice looking modern and unique contempary building on the waterfront with a very modernistic design. Unfortunately it is not open to the public to wander around.

Free entrance over the weekend. Free guidance - but you have to register first - (and don't forget your ID Card)...
friendly people that could answer ALL my questions, nice view, a little bit of art... we enjoyed this (unplanned) visit a lot!

Visited on a tour of Düsseldorf. It is an interesting enough building but lacks the “presence” of a parliamentary building.

It is located adjacent to the Rhein and the town tower so easy to located. Whilst it may not be spectacular it is an interesting building and an nice piece of modern architecture.

That is really about all you can say about it really. It is in proximity to the Rheinturm so if you are going there you will walk past it.

Was surprised you're allowed to visit the state parliament building but was pleasantly pleased and because it was free.
Watched a 3 min film about parliament although in German you get a sense of who's in power in Düsseldorf
Great view of all parliament rooms

The guided tour (in German) was very informative. The architecture and interior decoration are memorable. The political process becomes even more interesting when you realise that the federal state is bigger than meany European countries.

The view of the State Parliament form the Rhen Tower was very impressive.
From the ground, it did not look as good. Very symbolic with the tower!

You apparently have to make a reservation with a group to visit the interior. As I said regarding the Tower (closely) there are no coffee shops/cafes etc in the area before 10 am. Good building and tight security in whole area.

If you are in the vicinity of Rheintower go up and look down at this building, it is very interesting and cool looking building. When you go nearby it doesnt look much, but from height it is nice.
