It is a very interesting statue and worth a few photos, a description in English would help. It is a must do on a visit to Dusseldorf, also surrounded by two good pubs/restaurants and right by the museum

Built to celebrate Dusseldorf getting its city rights it is an incredibly detailed monument that is meant to be 'read' left to right as a story. It reminded me of the Ehekarussel monument we saw in Nuremberg.

Set in some nice gardens with other buildings and sculptures of note. Worth a visit if near the waterfront in old town.
