We visited glass museum on premises and it was an amazing experience. It was a large exhibition with some really beautiful and interesting pieces. There's also a lot of information about the craft.

If you're visiting the Altstadt the Kunstpalast is a little off the beaten track but worth the 20 minute walk to get there if you need some quiet time. Admission prices are a little high but for five euros you can view the resident exhibits...More

Located close to the Rhein River and old town. The somewhat less inviting exterior of the large building and garden did not give any indication of the fantastic display of art that we would find in the interior. It could easily have been missed from...More

The museum has a lot of different art pieces and was not busy at all when we visited in June. The glass collection sounded really interesting but was nothing amazing. There are not a lot of things to do in this city unless you are...More

For accessible exhibits of Rembrandt, Degas among other great artists and art, one will not be disappointed. Especially enjoyed glass art collection. Stunning ancient and modern glass art. Spend the day and visit cafe.

Not being a fan of art museums, this one is the best yet that i visited. Staff is friendly and helpful. There are audioguides (never seen those in art museums before) that explain you some background about the pictures you see. Price is reasonable. Size...More

The museum is quite nice with good objects. But, its kind of confusing how the tour is, the object information plats is not in english and in every room there is a guard following your every step all the time at close distant.

Nice, large collection mainly of old art, but the most important part is their glass art collection. Worth a short visit.

The glass works exhibit on the first floor is exceptional both in its range from the ancient to modern works. Nicely set up and extensive. This is not to diminish the sculpture and paintings which are also well presented and wide ranging. Good collection of...More
