The Old Town is nice. Good shops, good restaurants, nice bars. We love the Old Town. German cities are not as beautifull as Dutch cities. But this is ok

Old buildings are re-purposed, but the walking around is pleasant. I was out in the early morning and found much to like, such as the Carl's Platz market, the Medici Platz, and the duck ponds behind the Stadt Museum.
