Worth a visit

A little peaceful haven just outside the city. We got there from the hop on/off bus. A gorgeous traditional Japanese house and Buddhist temple and garden to look around.

To lazy to take the airplane to Japan or planning to visit Japan in the near future? Then make sure to visit EKO-Haus to taste the Japanese Culture! I visited this garden when I dropped my dad at the airport of Dusseldorf. The garden is very beautiful and it's really feels like you are in Japan... Make sure to check... More

Everything is in the title. The place is a breath in the middle of the city. If you appreciate a little bit Japanese culture you will definitely travel there for a short while!

I visited this temple as a part of day tour in Dusseldorf and was impressed by the clean and peaceful environment. The architecture of the temple along with garden attracted me. Although the main entrance to temple was closed, we can gain entry from the other side. This temple is bit in residential area and might be bit difficult to... More

You can reach here easily if you take the Hop on Hop off bus and you will be amazed. Like being in the real Japan for a while. We came here in autumn and the trees colors were awesome... pity the little lake is dry and maybe the cost of visiting the little apartment and temple is exaggerated but I... More

I've been bere several times and every time is a joy.this is the cultural and religious center of Dusseldorf Japanese community, not a nice attraction built for tourist.it gives the guest an authentic insight in the life and culture of Japan and it is very successfully in doing so.enjoy the harmoniously designed garden, the finely built temple and do not... A very Japanese feeling once you set the foot inside. It is well kept and mostly empty therefore quite a nice place for a peaceful quite walk. The temple was closed and the size of the garden is very small which looks otherwise through the photos uploaded by the reviewers

What a great place, even in winter. This is on the red bus tour and really worth a visit. Make sure you view the house and temple. They have a big music hall for functions and display a lot of art in exhibitions. Very helpful reception staff. A must.

There is a really beautiful and relaxing Japanese garden. The entrance just to visit is quite inexpensive. One can visit a typical japanese house and attend a buddhist place. From the house one can see a stone garden, in which one cannot walk, just look. Very often there are exhibitions in the underground floor, so one should check this out.... More
