A beautifully located promenade along the banks of the river Rhine. A lot of restaurants and pubs in the summer there must be a great atmosphere. The sunset was fantastic.

The promenade was withing close walking distance of our hotel and provide easy access to the riverfront. A number of river cruise options are available and the beautiful riverside buildings provide a very nice view of the historic Rhein River. Lots of history here.

Loads to do and see. Brings you to the banks of the Rhine. Nice walk and airy. It's very open so wrap up in winter.

The riverbank scene in Dusseldorf is picturesque and unusual. It's fun to stop for an Alt and some salted herring and watch the passing scene on the river and on shore.

We walked the promenade today and also a week ago. And the walk couldn't be different. A week ago, we seemed to be the only people on the promenade. That was in the mid afternoon after lunch and before the dinner crowd. We only encountered...More
