It is a pleasant walk along the river, away from the road traffic and looking at river barges passing by. Old buildings along the side as you approach the Altstadt from the Mediahafen. A flock of geese flew over as children cycled off to school.

Went on Sunday afternoon and a lovely sunny day. Perfect place to have a stroll and a drink in the many bars all along the river.

On a nice sunny day it was great to walk around and enjoy the sunshine. Regretfully there is so much going on with refurbishment . Liked the old one better, but it is still worth a stroll.

When you are in Düsseldorf you cannot miss this part of it. It is beautiful. The promenade is pretty long if you walk the entire piece of it. But very beautiful. One of the highlights in Düsseldorf if you ask me.

The promenade is a lovely stroll along the banks of the river. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to stop and rehydrate along the way. They are a bit more expensive but you are paying for the view.

We had a pleasant walk along the promenade on numerous occasions. For Germany, it is not as clean as other cities, the bins were full so there were an obscene amount of wasps

Ok, so you visit Germany. You see the castles, maybe. Or you go to Berlin, or Cologne...oh my, can I say Cologne in a Dusseldorf review? :-) Right, therefore you must seek out Füchschen (aka Der Fuchs). These guys are clearly committed to Altbier. It's...More

Visited the Rheinuferpromenade and it had amazing views. The Rhine walk and the pubs which were full of people. The bridge over the Rhine was also amazing. Lovely place.
