Nice place for strolling, for seeing the boats and the old town on the other side, for people watching, for relaxing and talking with friends. Limited choice as it comes to restaurants, but you can bring your own picnic and sit on the "largest bench."

This is a lovely boardwalk located on the further bank of the river, overlooking the old town of Cologne. The walk from the Hohenzollern bridge to the Deutzer bridge takes 5-10 minutes and provides some lovely photo-ops of the cathedral, churches and bridges of Cologne.

The stairs are amazing. I haven't been here for a very long time. And now being back with kids and wife, this is an amazing place. The best of it was the beer garden from the Hyatt, awesome food and drinks.

It is a nice place but keeping in mind there nothing as such to do. This is a passage over River Rhine from where you can have a nice click of old town.
