The current Pop Art exhibition is outstanding. The world famous pictures of Andy Warhol, Roy Liechtenstein, Jasper Jones, Robert Rauschenberg, Claes Oldenburg and Tom Wesselmann are fantastic and can be seen here in Cologe til January 11, 2015.

The current Pop Art exhibition is great! Didn't like the permanent collection that much, but that's just taste. The museum also offers some great views on the Hohenzollern bridge and the Dom.

There is also a high quality permanent collection of 20th century German artists... More

Nice restaurant with a really nice waitress. In the menu it doesn't say that spaghetti with olive oil is spicy and I couldn't eat it at all. Was very busy for lunch. Right inside of Ludwig museum.

If interested in art (mainly paintings, also photographs, videos, installations and sculptures) from the 20th century it's a "must see". Look out for current events and temporary expositions.

We enjoyed our visit to the Ludwig Museum very much. We were on a Rhine River cruise and visited during our free time. Our ship was docked close by. The museum feels large but the work is displayed so that you have ample room to view each piece on its own. You can really look at each piece and study... More
