After reading reviews I expected annoying guides but there were none, the staff was very friendly and helped me with the orientation within the building. There are 2 rooms dedicated to August Macke and expressionists I liked very much. The rest were above all modern...More

we found the exhibits interesting especially the individual Nadia Kaabi-Linke and Georg Herold expos but the security personnel were at times intrusive. If one strayed a couple of centimetres over the border lines indicated on the floor in front of an exhibit one was immediately...More

Worth visiting for its architecture but really not for the art...when I visited there were three special exhibitions and a permanent collection and all were unimpressive: a few Ok things but really not worth a special trip. There is a lack of curatorial drive in...More

The permanent exhibitions are fantastic a really interesting overview of German contemporary art. The gallery spaces are huge, light and airy with plenty of space to step back to view work. Well worth visiting if you love contemporary art.

I wish there had been more different kinds of art. It was mostly modern, which isn't my personal favorite. It was still worth it!

Very nice August Macke expo in the ground floor. The museum is overall good for a medium german city. 2h are enough to see everything.

This modern art museum exceeded my expectations. It needs a solid 2-3 hours to go through everything and i especially loved the exhibitions and the architecture. Defenitely worth visiting for the modern art lover.

The Kunstmuseum Bonn is definitely one of the best museums for modern and contemporary art in Germany. Virtually every big name in German art today is present and the museum is delightfully airy and light. An absolute must see

I really enjoyed my time there, especially visiting "The Uncanny Home" ("Unheimlich") exhibition. It was dedicated to the role of the interiors in the modern art, starting from E.Munch and to M.Beckmann, as the description said itself. All the descriptions were available in English, even...More
