Very interesting concept, the museum shows the history in a very fascinating way. You don't have to follow a chronological circuit which is normally rather boring. The approach is thematic, you can use very good audio guides and learn a lot. The non permanent exhibitions...More

Quite an interesting museum! Though might be we got lucky as they also have now quite an interesting temporary exhibition about beauty - where you can try several things on - like a perfume Napoleon wore. The permanent collection is a bit too diverse, nevertheless...More

Learn about the Rhein area. Good exhibitions on the Celtics, early human civilizations. Slightly "dull" presentations - needs to be spiced up more to attract children. Large space.

This museum is very interesting, a great option for rainy days in Bonn. It is also very close to the central station and the university.

Great Michael Angelo and Karl Lagerfeld Exhibit. This is the second time I visited this museum, a few years back I saw the amazing travelling Guggenheim exhibition here.

We found this museum to be very eclectically arranged, with no clear logical pathway through the exhibits on display, jumping from one subject to another and back again. That said, there are some very interesting exhibits that do provide insights into the history of the...More

I couldn't resist an archaeology museum, especially one with the first-discovered Neanderthal bones in them. I was also intrigued by an advertised exhibit on Celts on the Rhine. So I wandered in today and, pre-warned, asked for an audio guide. Not only was the museum...More
