I were lucky in July 2016 was cross cultural festival. With amazing life concerts it was really a pleasure to be part of it.

Musee of Modern Art, very special, full of original contemporary arts of all sorts, sometimes you must really laugh, yes funny as a joke, I remember in the entrance was " the Supermarkt Woman " with her enorm, so full caddie, of course not a swelt lady, but a fat, corpulent woman with a mini skirt and curler on her... The Ludwig Forum is a house for contemporary art. From American Pop Art, art from the 80s and 90s to the latest tendencies, the collections, temporary group and solo exhibitions, events and educational activities give a broad overview of art today. There is wonderful library in the museum. I really want to show my appreciation to Ms. Sonja Benzner Who... More

We didn't have to pay entrance (i guess due to the fact that it was Aachener Kunstroute when we were in Aachen). I loved this museum! The art that was displayed is so extraordinary! I liked it a lot. The museum shop is lovely. There are also free cards (beautiful ones) to take home. This museum is really a must-visit... More

I start by saying that I don't normally gravitate towards modern art, as much is lost in my attempt at interpretation. However, I do appreciate an artist's efforts at individual expression, and you will see this here. Ideas both whimsical and deep exist here and it was entertaining to experience. Definitely worth a visit if you are in town.

I didn't get it. I am open to art but there I did not get it. The building is spacious and great for exhibition...but the art inside did not convince me at all. there is a mix of art, photos, sculpture, etc... but without apparent link in between, also no specific comment to give you a clew of what the... We really had a blast at Ludwig Forum! It is a rather big museum with an impressive and intelligently and tastefully picked contemporary art collection. We particularly appreciated discovering Stefan Sandner's paintings. The building itself is very nice too. Just a negative point: to-ta-lly abusive guards (two interventions more and I would have seriously considered suing for harassment), personnel at... More

When in Aachen I went to visit the local museum Ludwig forum since it was recommended. When there I thought it was rather boring. The art did not really touch me or impress me. Just not what I would consider art

For me it was nice to visit the museum. I love hyperrealism/popart and foto art. I loved to see sculptures from John de Andrea, Hanson and more..If you visit Aachen, for sure take a visit to this nice museum.
