Fun day

This is a great place if you have younger kids. My boys are 4 and 5 years old and had a great time playing in the park, going up the tower and find our way through the maze.

This sounded like a fun thing to do. And the way to the flags was pretty nice. But in the end it is just three flags in the ground.

We visited Aachen for a day trip and decided to drive a little ways out of town to see the 3 borders. It was a quick drive for an awesome photo. Ok, maybe its a little cheesy but my kids were fascinated with jumping borders like that. Also, there is a large playground to let them run and play to... More

Have been there despite cold and bad weather. Good place for a walk. Cant really judge the views (supposeldy nice) as we did not go up any of the two towers.

The three country border is just plain cool. We went for the bragging rights and to grab a few photos. The point is the intersection of Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. We visited the site in February and a lot of the attractions surrounding the site were closed, but there was a huge maze (closed) a beer garden with outdoor... More

A unique experience being in 3 countries at the same time. There are good views from the site. There is a couple of restaurants but I did not visit either of them. From the direction I travelled, it wasn't very well signposted.

Perfect destination for a walk from Aachen.. just 5,8 km one way. Unfortunately at winter time restaurants are closed, but its really worth to go there.

An interesting place to recognise that borders are not everlasting! Three countries, Germany, Netherlands and Belgium meet each other here. So you can choose which cafe you prefer, German one, Dutch one or Belgian one!
