At this place you can visit 3 countries in 20 minutes...Switzerland 🇨🇦France 🇫🇷and Germany 🇩🇪 If staying in Basel take the No. 8 Tram which terminates inside Germany. From there cross the footbridge over the Rhine from Germany into France. It's a kinda geeky thing to do but I enjoyed it.

Perfect destination for a walk from Aachen.. just 5,8 km one way. Unfortunately at winter time restaurants are closed, but its really worth to go there.

Visit 3 countries at the same time here. Climb the tower for the views. Great for kids and adults alike.

Get a good map or digital map. Long walk with lovely country settings - 4.8 km per single way. Do pack refreshments for the walk as the restaurant up the hill is mostly closed on winter. Even the tower was closed for visitors. Interesting " finding" of the three countries borders. Not a fancy sight.

Went up one of the towers on a cold obscure autumn afternoon.. I don't mind heights but the see through aluminium floor outside was even a bit too much for me. Great views. Even better on a clearer day. My three adult children were in three countries at the same time where I could see them all at once! After... More

It's a nice place with a big playground, a maze for kids and adults, a Cafe and nice wander paths. Definitly recommend this if you never where around here and look for a good view and a nice walk . If it's a cold day tho definitly take a hat a scarf with you, its pretty windy up there, and... More

Decided to come here after exploring Aachen. Getting there took some work since we didn't have a car; we took #25 bus to Vaals, then walked up the path from town. If there were signs we didn't find them, had to use our phones to navigate. But well worth the 20 min walk uphill, the view is stunning. The cafe/restaurant... More

Aachen is not only a German town, but a thre country Border; you came from Belgium to Aachen, next frontier is Holland, Maastrich; The point of view of the three frontiers is in a forest and you can have a super view from a tower, to see three different lands and the plattform is transparent.
