The lighthouse is a spectacular structure. You can climb the stairs to get a great view of the sea and city.

On a clear day, you can see so far from the vantage point. It is situated on a lovely white sand beach, near a nice promenade. The village of Warnemunde is also quaint to walk through, with its gabled houses.

The views from the top of the lighthouse are wonderful. You can see for miles in every direction. Great photos of the beach, the town, the port area. Not too bad a climb, about 150 steps.

We visited Warnemunde for the day and took the opportunity to go to the top of the lighthouse. About 150 steps but the staircase which is narrow and windy is 2 way. A brilliant view from the top and you can see for miles.

This lighthouse was bulit in the late 1800s and oozes history. For 2 euro you can climb the steps to the top. Great view on a clear day. Worth the small fee for the experience.
