Apart from Maestro card. Nearest atm 2,7 km away b/c several closed. Not too happy about this with two kids, of course we brought cash (this is Germany, after all...) but not enough to cover entrance (€33), lunch & playground (€4,50/child).

For someone who doesn't live by the sea, it is a very pleasant visit. Didn't try the restaurant, but it was busy enough all the time I was at the hotel nearby.

It is a 3 story building. This aquarium is rather small and intimate. The staff is quite welcoming. They do not accept credit cards. it Intimate and interactive experience for children and adults to learn about the marine animals in the Jadebusen marshland.

An interesting aquarium, located directly at the sea. Not to crowded when we have been there - a definitive visit-must-do when being around.

Not inspiring from outside but very interesting and fun for my 16 year old and 5 year old. The penguins were very funny drawing large crowds! There's also a soft play area at a small extra cost and possibly the best gift shop in Wilhelmshaven....More
