I was alone in the museum with our dog while my husband explored the Naval Museum across the street. The staff were super friendly and they were interesting and great insights into the lives of whales, North Sea residents and the Wadden Sea. All this needs to be preserved. A museum that has a lot to offer.

On three floors a great, informative and very lovingly designed exhibition.
For the kids there are a lot of interactive games, which makes things even more interesting.

Wonderful museum for young and old. Interactive, extremely interesting and visually very appealing. The special exhibition on whales in particular was very good and informative. A MUST if you are in Wilhelmshaven.

We visited with high expectations. The first floor was a good exhibition about Whales with English translations. The remaining 3 floors however had no translations. We weren’t offered phones with translators and when we were let in the nice chap on reception was talking to us in English & knew our German was minimal. Disappointing to have spent €8,50 each to be unable to understand!
