It's a hour walk from the city center and it really worth a half day trip. You can reach the tower through the woods or get closer by car. The entrance costs 2 euros (1 reduced) and going up you can enjoy the landscape view...More

Lovely walk up the hill through the green trees in Summer and gorgeous Autumn colours. Only open between April-October, you can see some nice views over Goettingen and the Leine valley.
