Visited the Nerobergbahn Funicular as I noticed it was listed in Atlas Obscura. It's a very short funicular ride to the top of the hill, where the Neroberg park is located. It cost something like 8 Euro for a round-trip ticket, and it was definitely...More

This was a great experience. The views are fabulous. Kids would love it. You won’t believe how high you are rising unless you turn around and look back. Much easier on the feet than hiking up. Not cheap, but worth it.

A trip up on a water driven cog train to a wonderful view of Wiesbaden. There are a few walks to do from the top and the Greek Orthodox Church was worth the effort.

It's recommended to take the train one way and walk the other way, there's a great view, a restaurant and several hiking trails around. On a sunny day -- a perfect day in nature, easily accessible 3km from the city centre.

We enjoyed our ride up the Nerobergbahn. At the top there is a nice restaurant, an beautiful orthodox church and a complex of ziplines/high ropes courses. And great views of Wiesbaden. Walking down is a short walk through forest. Good family activity
