A very nice old Evangelical church built in Gothic style in 1235 . Was built in honor of St. Elizabeth of Hungary. Her tomb is in the church . Admission free to the main hall and tickets needed for other parts .

I'd recommend going here with a guide - our guide told us a lot of really interesting history about Marburg and St. Elizabeth here. Inside is a traditional, old church.

Interior very dark but very historic. There is shop across the street with postcards etc. Reichspräsident Hindenburg is buried here on the left side.
