Beautiful quiet but tourist place in Kasel. Beautiful views. Visiting in winter without running water. Hercules is being repaired.

We visited the attraction during winter. Very few people around and we climbed the steps to the top. Loved it, but climbing the steps is not for the feint hearted. Winter is not the best time to visit but we loved it.

Interesting building but during our visit it looked more like a building site. There is so much restoration going on that is was impossible to get some nice pictures. Also not everything seems to work and the amount of water, and the duration, was a...More

We were very lucky to be able to visit here on a Wednesday which is one of the two days (the other is a Sunday), when the water is released down from the top and cascades all the way down to the bottom, into the...More

I would like to see this enourmus waterfall with water! Very nice view from the top. Nice stairs. Looked natural, even though it was artificial.

The waterfalls start 520 meter up and you need to walk at least 2,3 km downwards to follow the flow of the water and the altitude is about 200 meters. We parked at a free street parking at the “end” of the park and walked...More

If you are in Kassel on a Wednesday or Sunday, you HAVE to see Wasserspiele. It's a great experience, even though they are renovating.

Is there a time of year when tourist sites in Europe AREN'T covered in scaffolding? It literally looked like EVERYTHING here was being built there were so many cranes and scaffolding and construction going on. The restoration timeline posted as you entered from the parking...More

You need to take a lot of stairs up to see the view. But it is worth it. The stairs are comfortable. Though there is a water way in between, i heard the water is in it on Sundays.
