This church has ordinary interiors, but is also connected to the Capuchin Friars nearby, an oasis of peace in the hectic downtown.

As many others we just stumbled into this beautiful catholic and peaceful oasis in the middle of busy Frankfurt. I noticed a painting of my beloved Saint Anthony with the name of the cluster just on a wall and we went inside. Peaceful courtyard lead you to the altar of the Virgin Mary where you can light some candles. Inside you’ll find a space for prayers. Nothing big going on compared to other churches in Europe but the peace you find there is definitely special. Not a lot of people/tourists which we really enjoyed. The small area to pray to Saint Anthony was filled with candles and flowers. A signed that many, like me, put our worries in his hands. We will be back when we have more time to sit and meditate.

It is a Catholic church built in Gothic style in 1344. It was destroyed and rebuilt after the WWII.

The interior of the church was very beautiful and the alter had many nice carvings and statues. There was a small courtyard on the side and it was quiet and serene too.

This is a large parish church. The exterior is perhaps the most interesting part as the church was destroyed in the air raids of 1944 and subsequently largely rebuilt. There is a lovely painted medieval memorial to a knight and his lady outside the church and a fine painting of St Anne and the Virgin inside.

This is a small church hidden off Zeil Street. The inside is very peaceful and the interior is very beautiful and has classical feel.

Like an oasis in the desert, this quiet church stood out from the manic shopping and drinking activities we were just passing through from Konstablerwache to Zeil and then Kleinmarkthalle. Suddenly it was all quiet and peaceful.

This church is still functioning and there are people praying there. Give it due respect.

It is very central located, there were a lot of activities, it was crowded day and night. Building itself is different structure and off course, German accent on it what I mean is north Europe housing architectural accent to it. It was a little different than those big domes.

Lovely little church away from the tourists. Only small, but very lovely inside. Outside is simple and the surrounding cobble stone streets add to the beauty of this lovely old church.

Liebfrauenkirche ( Our Lady or Dear Lady ) is yet another fantastic church located in the heart of Frankfurt.
Built between the 14th and 16th century ,it's now a monastery church and looks amazing, although easy to miss in the shopping district once found you can see how beautiful this church looks.
As with the majority of Frankfurt this church was completely destroyed in WW2 but in the massive rebuild post war this church was rebuilt in the 1950's to most of its former glory,a new grand looking organ was added in 2008 to compete the impressive rebuild.
The church is found on Liebfrauenberg .
Well worth checking out.
