While walking down the river next to awesome museums you can see the ships passing by and enjoy the amazing view of the Frankfurt skyline. Nice cafes inside the museums and the old town of Sachsenhausen right behind you with typical "Äppelwoi"-restaurants and nice shopping...More

If tired after sightseeing this is a good place to take a walk and admire the river and the buildings on the opposite side. You can see the financial district and the old town combined together in an interesting mix.

Great riverfront for running at sunset. Many museums and cafes including some boat restaurants. Lots of green areas and some steps when you go up to the bridges.

This nice bank of the river has some of the main museums but also is the home of an interesting market on Saturdays. Fly market, cheap tools and exquisit food. There are some beer gardens there,

Very nice ambience, a good collection showing the cinema history, and some especially pieces related to the theme. For movies lovers, and for everyone curious about it.

A nice walk beside the Frankfurt Main river. When my wife and I were walking there it was raining lightly. To reach this place you need to cross the steel bridge from the Frankfurt side to Sachsenhausen.
