There's nothing super exciting about this bridge other than all the love locks on the bridge but it does provide a nice view of the river and we were there at sunset so I had fun taking "artsy" photos and playing with the shadows and...More

The bridge will make you stay longer and fall in love quicker. The downtown view from the bridge is simply uncontested by other bridges in Frankfurt. The love locks obviously have become an attraction. The views from both sides at the bridge are equally impressed....More

It's worth the visit to go there and see the view and in my opinion do the love locks make it even more beautiful, it's fun to see the love there.

The elevator was broken when we went, which made it difficult for us to get the stroller up the stairs in the rain. The views were nice, and it's kind of cool to see the locks.

This walking bridge over the Main River is a great place to view the historic part of downtown Frankfurt. Our taxi driver from our airport hotel dropped us off right next to the bridge near the Museum district. The bridge is covered with “love locks,”...More

This is a great area with views to an amazing church on the other side of the river, then the Eiserner Steg on this side, and the famous bridge with all the locks right next to it. You could spend hours in the area and...More

Personally I find this underwhelming. Starting with the faulty elevators and the steep staircase and then the graffitis! Plenty of them at inappropriate locations. Had a good shot and then realised there were truncated swear words in the far background. Somebody left not just padlocks...More

My wife and crossed the Main river using the Eisener Steg. It's an interesting bridge, with the side rails filled with man pad locks placed there by couples in love. The bridge is especially nice to use because it's for pedestrians only and is convenient...More

stepping into this restaurant is like stepping into history, located in the heart of Frankfurt's Old Town, the Interior doesn't look like it has changed in a hundred years though it is of course clean. We called in here because we were visiting the Christmas...More

The Eiserner Steg is a wonderful Iron Bridge across the Main and a 2 min walk from the Römerberg, it offers fantastic views of the city skyline.

The bridge is not the Eiffel Tower, so if you're in Hahn Airport, don't even bother. From Frankfurt Airport it's a 10 minute S-Bahn ride, but be sure to buy a day or 5 people day ticket so you can move around and get back... More
