The bonobos in the Frankfurt zoo look happy and they are reproducing nicely. Nocturnal animal section was also impressive. The zoo shop sells WWF soft toys, nice umbrellas featuring ring-railed lemurs and bonobo t-shirts and more.
This was an excellent visit to Frankfurt Zoo.
We visited the zoo in August on a sunny day.
In our view the zoo was really worth the €15 entry fee for my son and I.

The most interesting aspect of the zoo was the bird house. It contained some of the most beautiful and some of the largest birds we have ever seen. Many of the other displays were missing animals. Frankly we were disappointed.
