What a great green spot in the middle of the city. Very nice and family friendly , you definitely don’t want to miss this attraction with the new baby lions.

The bonobos in the Frankfurt zoo look happy and they are reproducing nicely. Nocturnal animal section was also impressive. The zoo shop sells WWF soft toys, nice umbrellas featuring ring-railed lemurs and bonobo t-shirts and more.

The most interesting aspect of the zoo was the bird house. It contained some of the most beautiful and some of the largest birds we have ever seen. Many of the other displays were missing animals. Frankly we were disappointed.
