I had much more fun here that at the busy, commercial and touristy Christmas market. It's a Saturday Farmer's Market, so it's the place for locals to get their groceries, but there's stalls selling bratwurst, waffles and open sandwiches to eat as snacks and a...More

Not very touristic market, with lots of fruit, vegetables, meat and also fish. You can find easily something to eat, for example at the fish stand or at the wurst stand. Many local people were enjoying a glass of cold white wine as we were...More

Happening twice a week Thursdays and Saturdays, it's one of the best places to get good quality, locally grown and reared produce. Eat, drink and be merry..... My personal favorite is the Metzger Ruhl, some of the best meat products around and the queues attest...More

I liked very much this market to eat and to buy some hot wine and eat sausages( 100% made in Germany) all local producers. Price is affordable. I recommend.

We walked to the market on a sunny Saturday as we had time to kill before we left by train. It was an inspired decision. Delicious, oh so cheap, food available in a great atmosphere. Wonderful spots to stop and drink/eat. We wished every town...More

Fresh local bio products and wine from the Rhine Mine area. Especially on sundays this is one of Frankfurts nicest markets. Recommended!

Wow what a lovely little food market! We had a bratwurst and a yummy plateful of sautéed mushrooms with a dumpling on the side...all washed down with some apfelwein. Place seemed very popular with the locals.

Market is open Thursdays 10a-8p and Saturdays 8a-5p. Best and freshest selection in the mornings. But if you are looking for food options are available anytime. They pretty much stay within the hours. Enjoy!
