A very nice new area just by the main square and the cathedral. All renovated houses with shops and coffees . Great walk of 30-60 minutes

This is a charming district with many wonderful sights that can be taken in including Romerberg, St Nicholas, St Leonard’s, and St Bartholomews churches. The buildings are particularly beautiful and original in design with many different colours and styles

It’s important to know at least a little of the history of the Neue Altstadt before walking around it, as it has taken a long time for it to happen.
As a tourist, it was wonderful for me to walk around this restored/rebuilt area & admire the architecture.

Its full renovation works have been completed a few years ago. It is really pleasant to make a stroll here and admire buildings, handcraft shops and sip a good coffee.

This is a nice place. Doesn't matter where you are in Frankfurt it's worth comming here. Although the whole place is a rebuild, it has a nice atmosphere. The area is not to big but take your time to strawl around.

This Alstadt area of Frankfurt was destroyed in WWII. This small area called Neue Alstadt (new) is a reconstruction meant to imitate the old buildings. There are apartments above with stores and shops on the first level. The streets are narrow and the buildings have the old style, it is quite pretty

This is the ‘new’ place as the historical houses were built recently. It is a nice place to look at and take some photos. Otherwise, nothing much special.

Small scenic and picturesque little spot of Frankfurt. Nothing much to see though, maybe walking through it once is enough.
