What can I say it is a shoppers paradise...every major international brand is here Gucci Prada Armani etc.
But also some fine German independent shops which my wife loved as she had not seen some styles before.
As most people are aware Germany is not a cheap destination for clothes buying but odd items might catch your eye.
There's plenty of dinning venues about to suit all budgets so you won't go thirsty or hungry.

Close to Christmas it is one of the nicest streets in Europe to walk and to go for shopping. Everything is decorated according to the Christmas atmosphere and all the streets around have Christmas markets with everything you desire! Do not forget to eat “ wurst” and “schmalzkuchen” from the small Christmas houses in the market

Lots of good quality shopping opportunities. Plenty of places to eat as well. Enjoyed walking along the street particularly nice with the Christmas lights.

Really nice shopping street but also a lot of chain stores. Lacks smaller boutiques but all in all a good experience

This street has every store you need, and a few you probably didn't need. Plus there's a huge shopping center across from the St. Petri church, if you want to keep shopping indoors.

This busy shopping area has it all with good stores and cafes. Thus is a good place to start when visiting Hamburg for the first time. Many large department stores in the area. It’s close to the main train station.

Here you will find everything (more or less at least). All famous brands and Department stores. Lively street.
And you can walk for the TownHall or the Hauptbahnhof. It is very central.
Other places for shopping is Neuer Wall or Alsterhaus.
