You will pass through this place when you visit the main attractions. It has good views and it's worth to pay a visit.

If you are looking for a great carpet the warehouse district is the place to go get your Persian rug and see the many beautiful bridges of the city.

Worth a walk around to soak up the quite austere atmosphere. Great if you like architecture.Remarkable to think a lot of this has been rebuilt after WW2

An interesting and somehow unusual area.Massive, red bricks made, old building all over.Interesting but stereotype. Most of them are former warehouses transformed in office buildings.A maze of canals are spreaded between this buildings.

Definitely worth a visit. Just walk around and enjoy the old atmosphere. You can get there easily by metro, there are two different lines going nearby.

Architecture is the most interesting topic if you walk through these streets. You don’t need more than 30 mins to visit it, but you can’t leave Hamburg without having been there! It is convenient to visit many other things.

It's well worth a ramble around the criss-crossing streets and canals of Hafencity. I followed one of the official "Hamburg by Foot" routes from the city tourism site, but you can just as easily roam where your fancy takes you down here and be just...More

When they said Warehouse I expected to see neon lights and ladies of the night trying to entice gentleman into their boudoirs. Unfortunately I mis-heard. Apparently that is the Reeperbahn. So, the Warehouse Area is port side with beautifully restored buildings surrounded by water and...More

Old warehouse district. Famous for its canals and brick buildings. Good blend of modern and historical architecture.

Really fascinating to learn about the history of the warehouses and explore the area, leading on to the new city ofcHamburg that is currently being built. Stop by if you are in town!

Camping Buchholz looks to be as close as you can get and that is not in the city centre, but like previous advice said, try to park outside Hamburg and use a hostel.
