The visit is very short. If you don't know German, you will need to use your imagination, but there is not much to read even in German. Definitely not a tour for claustrophobics. You will need to crawl and avoid obstacles, so it might not...More

This place is worth a visit. It's 9 euro to go round and look. The tour is only in German and costs extra. There is a lot of crawling around and tight spaces so beware. It was worth visiting to get a glimse how the...More

If you have a bad hip or knee issues....skip this tour. However, it is every interesting and worth the 30-minute walk through. I'd pay the extra fee and have the guided tour. Friendly staff. It is a difficult climbing experience for older folks. Easy to...More

Very interesting to see around a u boat. I have a new understanding of how sailors work in small spaces. The only downside was a tour guide being abusive. The tour was in front of us and we got stuck behind them. As we don't...More

We discovered this Cold War Russian submarine by accident. We paid our entrance fee and were then left free to make our way through the Uboat at our leisure (we didn't bother with the tour). You have to clamber through some quite tight entrance hatches...More
