A beautiful day in a beautiful park

Nothing better to do than enjoy the sunny beautiful day in such a breathtaking park. Stadt Park is situated in the mid-north of Hamburg, just 1.5 km from northern bank of upper Alster Lake. It is a genuine oasis of relaxation for many of the city's habitants as well as visitors, far away from stress and traffic noise. When the weather is sunny and breezy, the meadows fill up very quickly with sun-seeking people, barbecues are set up, you can see kubb players, football players, children flying kites, cyclists plus joggers. The gutsy ones also jump into the Stadtparksee, while the less brave go directly to the adjacent outdoor pool. The large fountain in the southeast is the territory of model boat enthusiasts, who like to hold their regattas here. There are numerous playgrounds for kids throughout the area, while adults can look forward to the snack gardens in the peripheral areas. This park includes a planetarium and an open-air theater with its extensive range of concerts.

If we ever decided to live in Hamburg then because of the Stadtpark we totally would enjoy to have closeby. There are so many fun things to do for the young and old! Beautiful nature and wonderful fun amenities like playgrounds, Planschbecken, volleyball fields etc. We really fell in love with the Stadtpark.

An absolute experience - life in the city and in nature

This is where LIFE takes place: the townspeople have a natural area which is full of life. Playing, doing sports, enjoying the sun, swimming, but also watching the flora, and barbecue, boating, driving remote-controlled boats, or just coming and looking.

Super cool park in the city

Stadtpark is one of the nicest parks I have ever been to. It has a very interesting planetarium and a wide and extensive lawn area where you can chill with a small BBQ or play frisbee. Highly recommended!

A Forest in the City of Hamburg!

A place where you should go to rest and relax yourself as well as for long walk. Prepare well before you visit, because, you might get lost inside the park. A must visit part of the park would be Planetarium Hamburg! I am kinda sure you won't regret after the visit!

Huge Parc in Central Hamburg

This enormous parc has lots of different things to do:

Either you join some guys playing soccer on the big free space, or you go to the big beer garden at Landhaus Walter, where you can also see live bands in the attached "Downtown Blues Club", or you go to the Planetarium (check out the amazing program in advance), where they have events like welcoming the full moon with chill out music, you can enjoy from the parc, or you go to the public swimming pool, or you have a snack or drink in one of the many little bars, or you watch a live band between May and September in the big Open Air Theatre.

So plenty of things to do for everyone.

You can get there by underground (U3 BORGWEG) or train (S1 ALTE WÖHR, for the music theatre). A place where Hamburgians love to spend their summer evenings. Check it out!

Concert at the outdoor arena

If you get a chance to see a concert at the outdoor venue at the North eastern section of the park it is a wonderful venue. A natural bank ensures a good vantage point for all and surrounded by a beautiful hedge it is a lovely place to hear a concert.

Huge parc

It’s a very huge parc that is surrounded with green scenery. A long stroll here can definitely decrease stress levels. You can find the planetarium on the East of the parc.
