Following my visit to the awesome Miniatur Wunderland (during my November 2016 trip to Hamburg), I decided to also check out the Hamburg Dungeon. I had heard something about the Dungeons (attraction in various cities), but hadn't looked to deeply into the matter, and wasn't sure what to expect. The Hamburg Dungeon is an interactive experience that takes you through... More

The first part was kind of boring and not really scary, the rides weren't exciting and only one of the shows was creepy. The sanatorium was way to creepy for children and unexpected after the first part. We didn't enjoy our visit at all and found the acting very poor!

The Hamburger Dungeon was different from but much more than I expected. I expected a theatric show about Hamburg history. What I received was 100 minutes of history light infused with terror, special effects, and rides. The history portion is weak (dates are sketchy or not at all stated). There was a section on the Inquisition, which really made no... More

If you've ever been to a Dungeon in another city, you know what you're in for. There are English tours available and I highly recommend you book one of those if you don't speak German. You will learn about the history of Hamburg in a very entertaining and interactive way. From the inquisition over the black plague to piracy and... More

The place where Hamburg history is told in a scary and entertaining way. The "smuggling" ride and the free-fall were a cool addition. Recommended, although not sure it's worth 25.50 E. Probably because of all the nice actors who performed very well and involved the public in the stories. All except the first "Igor" guy, who was bored and did... More

Waited in a short 15 minute queue, testament no doubt to the popularity and success of this attraction. On arriving at the ticket desk we were informed it was a 1.5 hour spoken tour only available in German!! Hugely disappointed that in today's age no translation service either spoken or recorded was available, fail to see how this can call... More

We have been to English version (which is only possible to take couple of days a week and at 10 am). We bought tickets in advance (on official website via credit card). So no queues... The show (can't say that it is just regular excursion) was very cool! historical facts are much more interesting if to add medieval looking actors,... More

We went there thinking we could visit but the line was around the corner of people waiting to get in, not even to buy tickets as they have been sold out for weeks

Good location, really interested in going but they only offer two English speaking tours per week (10:00 am Saturdays and Sundays)

Hi J183, Thanks for taking the time for a feedback. We are already working on a plan how we can offer more English tours since more and more international visitors are in town. By the way we already offer another tour on Friday at 10am and during the week (Monday to Thursday) you can book an English tour at 4pm.... More

I visited with friends and despite it was to me not scary at all, we had a lot of fun there. It's very interactive. I was impressed by how big the installations seem to be. The little spin wheel with gift at the door was one of my favorite things.
