Our host took us, via the U Bahn to the new concert hall in the photo.....philharmonie.......and we enjoyed our visit along with many other travellers. This is now the symbol of Hamburg.

Not a lot of places to eat or drink though. Transportation is available nearby and as always the german staff here was very efficient.

Enjoyed our walk around the port. Lots to see and do on the journey around lots of hop on hop off buses leave from this location as well

We did an Alster boat tour, had breakfast at Alex's, visited Michel, Miniaturmuseum, Hafenrundfahrt, Mary Popkins musical, Elbphilharmonie, Maritimes Museum brilliant, Planetarium was a flop, boat trip to Blankenese, Reeperbahn, St. Pauli, Hard Rock Café. City bus tour and many more

They do have. There are yellow and red boys representing different companies. Just google Hamburg free walking tours and then you'll find them. Depending where you are you can either go to Landungsbrücke or to the Rathaus... More
